The artistic director of this year’s Cannes Film Festival, Thierry Frémaux, announced a lineup of 56 films meant to represent the official Cannes 2020 selection, including Forgotten We’ll Be, directed by Fernando Trueba (Spain) and based on El olvido que seremos, the bestselling book by Héctor Abad. There’s a more recent UK edition at World Editions, and the US edition has been published at FSG.
The film is one of only three Cannes Official Selection label titles in its Faithfuls section that has screened at Cannes’ online Marché du Film.
