Agustín Fernández Mallo //
We are very happy to share with you that Agustín Fernández Mallo won the European Literature Prize 2022 together with his Dutch translator Adri Boon for the Nocilla Trilogy. The prize honours both author and translator of the best work of contemporary European literary fiction that has appeared in Dutch translation in the previous year. It is endowed with €10,000 for the writer and €5,000 for the translator. Among the former winners are Marie NDiaye, Julian Barnes, Emmanuel Carrère, Jenny Erpenbeck, Max Porter, Arno Geiger, and Ali Smith.
