Nomination Dublin Literary Award 2025

Dulce Maria Cardoso is nominated for the International Dublin Literary Award 2025 with her novel Eliete: A Normal Life, translated by Ángel Gurría-Quintana and published by MacLehose Press.

The title has already been translated into ten languages.

Among the previous winners of the Dublin Literary Award are Mircea Cărtărescu, Alice Zeniter, Valeria Luiselli, José Eduardo Agualusa, Juan Gabriel Vásquez, Orhan Pamuk, Michel Houllebecq, and Herta Müller.

The shortlist will be published on 25th March 2025, and the Lord Mayor of Dublin Emma Blain will announce the winner on 22nd May 2025.

The winner receives a prize of €100,000.
