Djaimilia Pereira de Almeida and José Luís Peixoto //
Djaimilia Pereira de Almeida and José Luís Peixoto are two out of ten finalists of the Prêmio Oceanos 2020, one of the main references in the literary scene of Portuguese language. Both authors are participating with their latest novels, de Almeida with The Vision of Plants (“A Visão das Plantas”) and Peixoto with Autobiography (“Autobiografia”). Both of them have won the prize in former editions: Peixoto in 2016 with “Galveias” and de Almeida in 2019 with “Luanda, Lisbon, Paradise”.
