We’re happy to share that Eugenia Almeida has won the 2025 Prix Violeta Negra Occitanie for her novel “Scrapyard”, published in French by Éditions Métailié under the title “La Casse”.

The jury of the Prix Violeta Negra Occitanie is composed of booksellers, librarians, journalists, and members of Toulouse Polars du Sud. The winning novel was announced on October 11, 2025, during the 17th edition of the Toulouse Polars du Sud Festival.
