Agustín Fernández Mallo wins the 1st Eugenio Trías Essay Prize for his work La forma de la multitud.
Organised by the Centre for Philosophical Studies Eugenio Trías (CEFET/Universitat Pompeu Fabra) and the renowned publishing house Galaxia Gutenberg, the prize is endowed with 8,000 euros. The jury highlighted the originality of the approach of Fernández Mallo’s work and the “lucid and suggestive use of scientific knowledge applied to philosophical reflection and the analysis of contemporary human identity”, according to Galaxia Gutenberg.
