Héctor Abad Faciolince //
Directed by Spanish filmmaker Fernando Trueba, the Colombian film “Forgotten We’ll Be”, based on Héctor Abad‘s novel Oblivion, was the big winner at the Platino Awards 2021. Trueba’s film received 5 out of 11 awards, including Best Film, Best Director, and Best Screenplay, which went to the director’s brother, David Trueba.
The Platino Awards, known in Spanish as Premios Platino del Cine Iberoamericano, were established in 2013.
