Sergio Bizzio wins the National Prize 2022 in the category Short Stories/Tales for his work “The Conquest, Iris and Construction,” presented by the Argentinean Ministry of Culture. The prize consists of 400,000 pesos and a lifetime pension.
Former winners in this category are Jorge Luis Borges, Adolfo Bioy Casares, Ana María Shua, and Liliana Heker.
