Hilde-Domin-Prize 2023

Our author Bachtyar Ali is awarded the Hilde-Domin-Prize of the City of Heidelberg. This prize is given to writers who live in exile in Germany and publish in German language. The prize consists of 15.000 Euros.

Among the members of the jury are Gregor Dotzauer and Cornelia Zetzsche.

In previous editions, this prize was awarded to authors such as Natascha Wodin (2019), Edgar Hilsenrath (2016) or Abbas Khider (2013).

Ali´s work is published in German by Unionsverlag and in English by Archipelago.
