According to a survey by the renowned Portuguese newspaper Jornal de Notícias and the Portuguese Book Institute DGLAB, Gonçalo M. Tavares and Lídia Jorge are Portugal’s third and fifth most translated Portuguese authors.

Fernando Pessoa is still leading the ranking with 564 publications. The work of Eça de Queiroz amounts to 329 publications, while Gonçalo M. Tavares and Lídia Jorge reach 226 and 81 publications respectively.
