Workshop in Almaty and 12th Kazakhstan International Book Fair

Nicole Witt will be one of the speakers at the Frankfurter Buchmesse Workshop in Almaty for publishing professionals, entitled Modern Trends in Publishing and Copyright Management. The event will take place from 18 to 19 November, in partnership with the Nomad Culture Foundation. Other speakers of the Workshop will be Jürgen Boos, president and CEO of the Frankfurter Buchmesse, Hermann Eckel, consultant, trainer and speaker, Bettina Back, International Project Manager at the FBM, and Vladka Kupska, Key Account and Sales Manager at the FBF. The Kazakh government supports the professionalisation of the book industry and its stronger international networking. The event is also supported by the Geman Federal Foreign Office.

Afterwards, Nicole will attend the 12th Kazakhstan International Book and Printing Exhibition “Along the Great Silk Road”, taking place from November 20-22, hosted by the National State Book Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in collaboration with the Exhibition Company “Atakent-Expo”, the Association of Publishers, Printers, and Book Distributors of Kazakhstan, and the “Bookfund.kz” Information System of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
