Gonçalo M. Tavares has been writing a daily column for the renowned Portuguese newspaper Expresso tracking the COVID-19 pandemic, entitled Plague Diary (“Diário da Peste”).

In the English translation by Daniel Hahn, the first entry went online at Words Without Borders.
