Nicole Witt will be one of the speakers at the Workshop Modern Trends in Publishing and Copyright Management in Tashkent. The event is organized by the Agency of Information and Mass Communications, which is part of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in collaboration with Frankfurter Buchmesse and the Nomad Culture Foundation. The event for publishing professionals will take place from 16 to 17 June. Other speakers of the Workshop will be Juergen Boos, president and CEO of the Frankfurter Buchmesse, Colin Hauer, Managing Director at Hörbuch Hamburg, Bettina Back, International Project Manager at the FBM, and Vladka Kupska, Key Account and Sales Manager at the FBF. The Uzbek government supports the professionalisation of the book industry and its stronger international networking.
